What is Pilates? 

Pilates is a method of exercise that was created by Joseph PIlates.  It utilizes various pieces of apparatus that build greater depth and awareness to complete the exercises within the method.  The apparatus synergistically works to enhance and challenge your movement.  The result is an incredibly connective overall workout for the body that also engages the mind.

What are you COVID protocols and precautions? 

 

We follow the guidelines of WA State & CDC mandates when it comes to masking.

IF YOU ARE SICK STAY HOME.  

 

Equipment is sanitized between sessions for your protection.  

​

Handwashing is required of instructors between sessions, and encouraged of clients.  

Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.  

What do I wear to class? 

Wear clothing that is comfortable and easy to move in.  What you wear to yoga is suitable attire for a Pilates session. 

​

Socks (toe socks preferred) with grip required for hygiene and safety.  

What is the session length? 

Sessions start on the hour and are 50-55 minutes in length.  We have alloted extra time for cleansing and sanitizing between sessions to follow sanitazation protocols.  

Please arrive to the studio 5-10 minutes before your session.

PIlates is a method of exercise. It is not intended to treat, cure or diagnose an illness or disease. 

Before starting Pilates, as with any exercise program you should ALWAYS first consult with your doctor.
